A short video which will take you on a journey across the violent, inhuman, and unjustified brutality towards Arab women concerning the issue of virginity. Starring Nancy Naser Al Deen (A Lebanese MEPI TL scholar at the American University in Cairo) Some clips are taken from the music video “Ma Fina” by Katia Harb and directed by Nadine Labaki, the movie “Caramel” directed by Nadine Labaki, the documentary “أسرار مدفونة” from BBC Arabia, and a documentary from Al Jazeera. The soundtracks in the video are “La Wayn Rayeh” by Abeer Ne’ame, and “Ma Fina” by Katia Harb.
