Question by Arun: What Is The Best Film School To Attend With An High School Average GPA Of 3.48?
I really wanted to attend USC and NYU Tisch School Of Arts, but with my high school average of 87% (GPA 3.48), and SAT Score of 1560/2400, or with just the math and reading 1090/1600, I know I have no chance. I really want to know which is the next best film school that is for someone who is really serious in becoming a director and having a major in film. I live in New York, but I was thinking maybe California State University, Long Beach? It’s in California but that’s where the action is. Plus it’s a State University and I’d probably get in with my grades. If anyone else know better film schools that I would have a chance with, please tell me.

Like most universities, students that are California residents are accepted first before out of state students.
Steven Spielberg went to CSULB, but he did drop out. He seems to have done well for himself.
Look on the CSULB web site. There is an entire section for prospective students.
