Question by N B: What’s easier, breaking in as a novel writer or a screenwriter, particularly if I don’t live in L.A.?
I know both are difficult, and I have an interest in both, but I now want to concentrate on one or the other, so which would you choose?

Novel first. Once you get something published, market it as a possible script. Then you get paid twice for one piece.
