Question by HallamFoe: How realistic is it to date someone long distance at a military academy?
I recently met a very nice, respectable boy who is attending West Point. We’ve talked several times since then and would like to meet again. We have the same sense of humor, similar religious views, and are both very independent.
I am also in university so if we did decide to date it would be long distance. Is it even worth the attempt?

Many people get into relationships with those on military service, and they can be very successful. Remember of course that when dating someone in the services long periods apart is part of the deal. So it probably wont just be long distance only while at university but post university as well.
It is not for everyone, but if you have met someone you like sometimes it is best let nature take its course and see if it works out.
