Question by web4u: How do you pitch a book to a movie production company?
There are so many companies, plus agents & independents, who is the first one that should be approached with an idea? Do you call or send a letter? What is the accepted procedure?

Whatever you do don’t send them your work.I had a relative send a book in, and the story was stolen. She tried to prove it,but it was no use. Talk to people in the business first, and speak to someone about copyrighting and protecting your material.
