Question by Inquizitive: Best Film School for Short Term Course?
Please suggest the best options for a short term course on filmmaking Or point out resources where I could get more info. Anything would do, be it a 2-3 month full time or a (maybe longer) part time course.
Please only those who have genuine experiences answer.
I could find:
-NYU-SCPS 12 week intensive (Its not Tisch right?)
-USC Basic filmmaking (M confused is it 6 week or 6+6 week?) summer course
– NYFA (is it any good) 8 week full or 12 week evening course
any other plz let me know
I am an International Student not in USA presently. I am assuming only US can provide a short term intensive course that is best value for time. If anyone has any other place like UK, Moscow etc please let me know that too.

Hi There – I work at Tisch and can hopefully answer your question for you.
Tisch School of the Arts at NYU offers two separate 6-week summer sessions from about mid-May to early August. There is in extensive list of filmmaking courses available to everyone, including those not currently in school.
You can view filmmaking courses from last summer here http://bit.ly/8y6BR4
Summer 2010 courses will be posted in January and registration is first-come, first-serve.
Hope this helps.
