Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, I thought I’d put up an old project. This was my Motion Studies final back in 2005, which had to be something related to Valentine’s Day. The characters’ parts were hand drawn(with colored pencil)then scanned. I isolated the pieces in Photoshop then animated them in After Effects. I obviously did this before I had taken any real animation classes, so everything’s pretty crude(drawings, animation, editing, etc). All the same, I still think it’s an amusing short. The BGM is Captian’s Log/Space Madness from the Ren & Stimpy album “You Eediot!”
