I’m interested in getting into photography and amateur filmmaking and I want to know what cameras are the best in categories like digital SLR and video. What cameras are best in terms of their quality and price? Like is the Flip a good video camera?

That answer isn’t really easy because Its based on preference.
It’s like asking which baseball team is the best.
You need to find a camera that fits your needs.
Look at the features and look at the pros and cons
I personally like Cannon Better, but I know a lot of professors who like Nikon.
