Question by Joshua p: How do I promote myself as a photographer & filmmaker?
I went to the Art Institute of Seattle for two years and got my AA in digital video production. I then went to the North Olympic Peninsula Community College and studied Photography & Photojournalism and now I am going to Evergreen to explore film making and get my BA in arts.
So my questions is since I have skills in photoshop, photography, video & film how could I set up a portfolio that looks good to clients?

By this time I would have thought you would have a huge network, starting by being a student member of NAAP.
Your fellow students, all your instructors and your career counselor will all be part of the network you will use to promote yourself.
Moving to the “Capitol” of motion picture enterprises (Los Angeles) would be a good start once you make some connections (this is why UCLA and USC are popular film schools and Art Center and Brooks are the two top photo schools in the West
Since the role of a photographer is so much different than a film maker, usually one picks one or the other to pursue.
