Celebrating the film industry ? Cambodia International Film Festival
As part of the ongoing strong drive to promote tourism as well as cultural artistry, Cambodia is set to host its first ever International Film Festival in 2010.
The much awaited event will be financially sponsored by UNESCO and is organised by the Cambodia Film Commission, FX Entertainment, Associated Filmmakers of Cambodia and Kmy Films jointly.
The festival will feature at least 30 Cambodian films as well as a large number of films from around 10 countries across Asia and Europe. These films will be in the categories of documentaries, international independent films, youth related films, Khmer films both modern and classic, as well as exemplary music videos and TV dramas.
The festival will take place over a period of three days and will comprise of an opening ceremony, outdoor screenings, theatre
