Question by star lover: certificate in tech theater from community college helllppppp?
hi i am planning to go to my community college and get a certificate in technical theater. then i am planning to transfer to a film school to pursue my education more in production design. If i go to my community college and get the certificate how will that look on a resume will it look good or should i just skip it and go straight to film school and major in production design. what i guess i am saying is do you think i will benefit in my future career as a production designer by getting a certificate in it

it will not look bad, and might very well end up saving you some money. however talk to the film schools you plan on applying about this (and be aware that they may be biased toward having you go straight to their school) they know the bennifits of their particular school than anyone on yahoo answers could.
