Question by SirDuke: I need help choosing a Laptop for college?
Im going to take classes in graphic design or film/editing, could you suggest a laptop, Im not necessarily on a budget but im not looking to spend over $ 1,000, and unless anyone ones where i could find a Macbook fairly cheap, anything apple is pretty much ruled out, so does anyone know of any dell, sony, HP laptops that could fit my needs

You would be best off with a Mac for Graphic Design and Film editing for the workflow benefits alone (Expose, Spaces). Plus Mac’s are pretty much the industry standard for design work.
You can get a basic macbook for about a grand and it will run most graphics applications fine.
