Question by Sam: I need to film a book trailer without any actors (except me)… I have no idea how to do this?
So I need to get a “book trailer” filmed and edited for English class by Friday (so it needs to be done Thursday night). I’ve read the book and have a few ideas for the trailer but I only have me to film the shots. It needs to be at least 1:30 long and I can use pictures or film. I have a digital camera and a film camera and I also have a tripod. I’m a girl and the main character is a boy, but I have very short brown hair (avatar pic is old, but that’s also me) and I can wear a guy’s hoodie and jeans.
Any ideas? Should I use film or still pictures? I’m very good at editing and I actually have Adobe Premier Pro CS4 so no worries there. Should I try to film some still objects to take up time? Its going to be a suspenseful trailer, and I need music. I can put in some text… I just need some help brainstorming. Idk if anyone’s read the book but its “The Body of Christopher Creed” by Carol Plum-Ucci
I’m just looking for ideas! Help me brainstorm please! I’m at the end of my rope D:

With so little time left, I would try to do something using still pictures and text. You could use your own pictures or image search for pictures licensed for reuse. Take a look at “Love, Meg” for an idea.
