Question by experiencenirvana: I’m about to receive my BA, should I get a job or get a Masters?
Within 6mo I will receive my BA in Studio Art (Digital Media/Art) and a minor in Computer Technology and Applications. I’ve mostly done a lot of Final Cut work lately in my Digital Media classes dealing of course with film editing. Should I go somewhere and get my masters degree or should I go ahead and join the work force? I’m quite puzzled by this. Anything would be great. And also if I should get a job or master’s any suggestions as to a career or school? I currently attend The University of Alabama and would like to stay relatively close by.

Join the work force and then get your masters. Education is great but if you don’t have viable work experience to go along with it, it doesn’t mean as much. Also, if you get in with a good company sometimes they will help you pay to further your education.
Where to get a job? Can’t help you with that…..not sure what you would do with that type of degree. Good luck!
