Obituary: Bill Littlejohn dies at 96; animation artist
Littlejohn worked on cartoon shorts and longer animated specials. He helped animators unionize. Bill Littlejohn, an animator whose work ranged from MGM’s “Tom and Jerry” shorts and the independent films of John and Faith Hubley to the popular “Peanuts” specials, died Friday night of natural causes at his home in Malibu. He was 96.
