Question by Imani: A documentary on healthcare, what is the name, please?
Last year I saw a phenomenal documentary on healthcare around the world, and pretty much how it compares to the US’ healthcare. The filmmakers went to France, Canada, and the UK, possibly others, but I never got to finish it b/c the club showing it had to end, because it was so long. At least 3 hours long. From what I remember, there were none of the filmmakers in front of the screen, like a method Michael Moore uses, none of that. I also remember them showing a nanny being sent to a woman’s house after she had had her child. I also remember a scene in a restaurant in France (I think). There are about 6 adults sitting in a well lit spot, a booth I think, drinking wine and laughing.
Oh yes, there was also a case in the US about a man dying of cancer (?) because he did not have healthcare. There was some of it shot in The US.
To sum it up:
About healthcare in Canada, France, UK
At least 3 hours
No filmmaker in front of camera (that I can remember)
Shot of nanny coming to help woman with newborn
6 adults sitting in restaurant drinking wine
Man dying of cancer(?) from lack of healthcare.
Thank you so much 😀
By the way, I forgot to mention it, but it is NOT “SiCKO” by Michael Moore.
Sorry
Thanks
