Twitter.com – Follow Us! Is the new Batman film going into production next spring? Stay tuned for the details. Hey guys, welcome to Clevver Movies. I’m Amanda Janner with the latest Batman news. Sir Michael Caine, who plays Alfred in Christopher Nolan’s Batman films, gives us the inside scoop on the ongoing Batman project. The actor told reporters at the London premiere of Inception that the latest Batman flick may go into production next April. However, director Christopher Nolan recently told reporters he was unsure of the production’s start date. Nolan has been vague on the details, but what we do know is that the Joker won’t be making an appearance, the Scarecrow might, and the film could be making its 3-D debut. Sources say 3-D has been considered but is unlikely; however, the film may have IMAX scenes or a full IMAX release. Both Nolan and Batman’s director of photography have discussed their options, expressing concern that the 3-D fad may pass before the films expected release in the summer of 2012. A lot of talk has been swirling around the highly-anticipated Batman movie — from the filming start date to the villains, and of course, the 3-D debate. As always, we want to know your opinion, so leave us a line in the comments section below. Thanks for watching Clevver Movies. We’ll see you next time.
