Question by Bri4827: Is making and distributing a film which you don’t believe in unethical?
I worked with 4 other students in a documentary film class on a project which focused on military recruitment. I don’t agree with the politics of my classmates, or most of the opinions expressed in the finished film. The project itself came out great from a storytelling and production standpoint, but if I don’t agree with the film, should I continue to endorse it? It’s won awards that would be great on a resume, but I wouldn’t want potential employers seeing it and judging my beliefs based off of it. Any thoughts?
