I want to make a documentary, yet I’m only a freshman currently enrolled in one cinema class.The class is about film theory and analysis more than the creation of film.

I never thought I would be interested in film; however, now I’m just itching to have some hands on experience with film production. The film major in my school can’t provide me this and I can’t transfer. So how can I teach myself? What are some good resources and cheap equipment I can use to create great and clear videos?

Not sure about equipment. But, here is a link for ‘no budget’ film making. Its a step-by-step that also gives pointers. Hope it helps.
