Encourage counselees to pattern their emotional expressions after God. God himself expresses a range of emotions. In the Bible, we learn that he expresses love, hate, joy, sorrow, and even jealousy. He hates, for example, bigotry, hypocrisy, exploitation, and immorality. We should note that Gods hatred is an unequivocal reflection of his love, for he hates those things that annihilate and destroy the objects of his love. Help
