Im a young Filmmaker whos in dire need of a good camera thats not a 360p digital camera handed down by his older sister. The Flip sounds good but i dont know if it is Depth of field compatbile. I need a satisfactory HD Camera with a price $ 220 or less that can pass as a good Film camera. Help!

For your budget, you wil have to consider a pocket camcorder which will not be able to use a DOF adapter. BUT, there was one user on YouTube that held a still camera lens in front of the camcorder lens. I was surprised at the results. Although it wasn’t perfect, it gave the video some DOF along with a kind of dramatic feel, artistic.
Most DOF adapters are 35mm and are sold for a few brand specific camera lens mounts, like Canon FD or Nikon F mount, etc.
