Pangea Day and Nokia are teaming up to bring you the 2008 Nokia Mobile Filmmaking Awards.
Pangea Day is a global day of films, music and speakers to bring the world together and promote understanding and tolerance. It’s a celebration of what unites us, rather than divides us, via films made by the world for the world.
Take part in the 2008 Nokia Filmmaking Awards and submit your video!
Courtesy of Nokia and Womworld, the creator of the winning video will receive a Nokia N82, a carrying case, tripod, memory card, headphones and speakers!
Contest rules:
Videos must be 1 of 4 following themes,
1: Film an act of kindness.
2: Film the best part of today.
3: Film the next thing that makes you smile.
4: Film the next person to inspire you.
Videos must be no longer than 2 minutes in length.
Your video must be shot on a mobile device.
All videos must be uploaded to http://share.ovi.com/pangeaday.
All videos will be judged based on content, creativity and originality.
How to enter:
Select 1 of the 4 themes found on to http://share.ovi.com/pangeaday. Interpretation of the theme is up to you.
Tag the video with the theme you chose i.e: act of kindness or best part of today or thing that makes you smile or person to inspire you. All other tags must be relevant to the video or your video will be disqualified.

Contest is open to anyone 15 years of age or older and the deadline for submissions is Saturday, 11:59PM Central Time, May 2nd, 2008. The winner will be announced on David Howell Studios on May 10th, 2008.
