Question by SECAVNTHLA: Can anyone help me find or give me ideas of sad song for a school project?
I’m taking this Asian American Studies Course and one of the projects is I get the opportunity to make my own digital story and showcase it to the school. I think this is great to have features of Asian American Student films because the media doesn’t really feature Asians that much. Anyways, My digital story is going to be about me being a gay Asian American and how hard it is. I want to find a song that has a sad beat that makes the listening feel sad when listening to it. I also want the song to be on the lines about “I am who I am and I can’t change” “I use to want to change but not anymore” “Accept me for who I am” “My life isn’t easy” “Appreciate diversity” “Learning and growing form oneself” If you guys could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. If you listen to Michelle Branch- “Til’ I get over you,” and also Holly Brook- “What I wouldn’t give.” Thats how I want the songs to sound like but the lyrics don’t exactly match my story so I don’t want to use that. Please help. Thx.
