Question by Matt Y: Can I pull a quicktime file off of my Mac-formatted External hard drive onto my PC?
I own a PC toshiba laptop currently, but for my film class we have to use final cut pro on a Mac to edit our movies- therefore we had to all format our external hard drives to a Mac so we can transport to different apple computers to edit on and so forth. I finished my movie up and saved it as a .mov quicktime file on my Mac-formatted hard drive. Is there anyway I can plug it into my computer and play/copy the file onto my PC, or will that screw up my hard drive (which is a no-no considering I haven’t handed in the project yet)? Thanks for the help.

try this
transfer the file to a USB flash drive or a DVD/CD as the movie is in .mov format it should work on quicktime for a windows based computer
just install quicktime from apple if it isnt already installed on your computer
