This is an interview/documentary with Chris Parsons. Chris Parsons has acted and directed throughout his entire life. Now with the debilitating disease, IBM, Parson’s is only left to teach and direct for the rest of his life. Parsons talks about theatre and acting in this rare interview.
June 8, 2009: Location shooting began today for 217 Films’ new documentary John Marin: Let the Paint be Paint!. This shoot was held in the Marin galleries at the Colby College Museum Art. Director Michael Maglaras and executive producer Terri Templeton were joined by director of photography Phil Cormier and crew members Ramsey Tripp (production manager), Jayson Labozo (gaffer), Tom Eichler (Sound), Mike Paneka and Mike Hadley (grips), and Heather Shand (production assistant). Lesley Tracy did hair and makeup for Michael’s on-camera appearances. In addition to directing, Michael wrote and narrated this script. The next shoot is scheduled for mid-August at Marin’s summer home in Cape Split, Maine. This documentary is scheduled for release in December 2009. two17films.blogspot.com
