Question by ¡Jessica!: Do I calculate one semester classes into my UC GPA?
I took stage production first semester of my junior year, an f (visual/performing arts) requirement. However, the teacher dropped the class for second semester. I am currently taking filmmaking this year to fulfill the f requirement.
When UC classes calculate GPA, would I put Stage Production A in under the “f”requirement even though I didn’t take Stage Production B or would that class not count into my GPA at all? (Because the UC VPA requirements is for 1 yearlong approved course)

Since the requirement is for a year-long approved course, you cannot count your one-semester course. You could, however, petition the appropriate person at this college (such as an academic dean, school chair, department chair, etc.) to make an exception on the basis that the course was not offered the second semester.
