TV Review: Anyone who was paying attention to rock music in 1975 remembers “Born to Run” hitting the scene like a breath of “chrome-wheeled, fuel-injected” fresh air. Three albums in, Bruce Springsteen was duly crowned the new savior of rock ‘n’ roll in an industry still dominated by ’60s leftovers. And then, poof, he vanished, as though he rode off on one of those suicide machines.
