Epic Pictures Group and Patrick Ewald Launch SPACE DOGS 3D in Cannes
Epic Pictures Group is igniting the market with the premiere screening of SPACE DOGS 3D, an English language animated film that tells the incredible tale (or is it tail?) of Belka and Strelka, two Russian dogs who become the world’s first canine astronauts (or cosmonauts). Originally produced in Russia by Vadim Sotskov under the CNF Anima banner, project is one of the most ambitious Russian productions in recent history with a budget of 35 million US.
“When I first watched SPACE DOGS 3D, I thought… wow… if anyone is going to be able to compete with studio level animation being produced today, it is going to be the Russians who have the “right stuff” to make their animated films look incredible. SPACE DOGS 3D is fun-filled family entertainment that does not disappoint. Besides, dogs… in space? What more could you need in a movie?”
