Question by Marissa: Film Camera shops in Indianapolis IN?
I recently got an old school, film camera and enlarger, along with quite a few other necessary stuff from my Photography class (they’re selling the darkroom and switching to digital next year.) I could not however, get chemicals needed for developing pictures. I would also like to find a place that would develop my film for me, because I plan on setting up a makeshift darkroom in my bathroom, which will be dark enough to develop pictures, but might mess up my film, it’s much more sensitive to light. (plus I was never very good at spinning the film on the roll…)
That, and obviously getting film, is all I need to get this going. My teacher recommended a place called Roberts downtown Indianapolis somewhere, but on their website I saw nothing for film cameras, except maybe some film. But no chemicals, from their website.
Anyone know of another place in the Indianapolis area I could drive to?
My teacher also mentioned that Walgreens could develop the film, but that I’d probably find better service and a better job from a real camera store. More customer friendly, and better negatives. Just what my teacher said.
