I am a budding filmmaker and am looking to buy some new equipment for use in making independent films. I know what kind of software I’d like to use but have no idea what the best camera suggestions are. So what would someone reccommend I start with? Thanks.

ive heard good things about the canon xl1. I think that camera or something similar was used to fil 28 days later.
