Question by 1: Film Production Major?
I am interested in majoring in film production in college so if anyone has any information on this major, that would help me out a lot.
Also, I need some advice on colleges. I was wondering if going to community college first and then on to a great university would be worthwhile. I have looked at several major universities with great film production programs and they all basically actually teach the film production classes in the junior and senior year and have the pre-major classes and gen. ed. the first and second years. Going to community college would save me a lot of money those first two years and by getting an A.A., I would have a head start on learning film production because I would be taking more of those classes than I would at a university.
I was just wondering what your opinions are on this and what you would advise me to do. Thanks for reading!

Here is my advice to you … you dont have to take it but here it is…
I would apply to the university you want first. If you have the money and you get in … go for it
if not a really good idea is to find a community college that has classes for you to take that deal with film …. then apply again and you will not only have your credits but more experience then going head first into a university class.
I am in a community college now because i didnt get accepted into anything which is okay but i am experiencing college and how everything work and making my GPA higher and its easier on my budget. then im transferring to a university
My school now has a program see if yours does because as long as my grades are good i can be automatic accepted in the university i want because they are connected with the community college. good luck
