Finalist, Film Your Issue 2007. Winner of Universal Studios Internship. — Enter www.filmyourissue.com From filmmaker Ben Daniele: “Who’s really the one conserving “gas” here? A comical look at gas conservation set to a short film about a peculiar fellow in a tight elevator. He “lets loose” in this tight spot, while disgusting the fellow people riding along. He proves to be the hero though, while having control of his own gas might be difficult, he’s got a great handle on controlling “gas” (fossil fuel) by avoiding the big cars and gas guzzlers, and riding his bike. So, “whether you’re tightening your cheeks or riding your bike; please, conserve gas.” Howdy! My name is Ben Daniele and I’m a 24 year old actor in Tampa Bay, Fl. I love creating short films. I’m just getting started with the whole idea, but I’m loving every minute of it. In 2001 I made a short film about my dog called “dog’s anonymous.” It was about managing the addictions that my beagle had developed over time. Hilarious and fun! Since then, I’ve really wanted to make movies! My cup of tea is acting, and djing. Which I do full time here in Tampa Bay! My best friend and co-filmmaker Mike Pieronek co-directed this project and helped me write it. He and I share a similar passion for film making, and we’re working on a number of show and short film ideas. We call ourselves “The Scatter Brothers.” We’re basically 2 wacky college dudes who live life to it’s fullest and try to film all of it!”
