Question by Julia: Help me and my Documentary!?
Okay, so here are the details:
Every year, at an annual family beach trip, my cousins and I (and formerly my brother) make a movie that we act, direct, film, and produce for the end of the week. Nothing too crazy, of course, but our last year’s was actually an hour long. 🙂
This year, since my brother isn’t coming, we were hoping to do a humorous Documentary on our family (I.E. “Meet the Smiths” or whatever).
My question is: Does anyone have any suggestions for questions to pose for our family members, ideas to spur stories, etc.?
Please no mean answers, just helpful hints or ideas!
Thanks so much!
Well first, just to note, my brother has a LOT going on in his life now and we’re going to miss him, but not make fun of him. Funny idea though if it had been appropriate. 🙂
And that’s a great idea! We’ll do lots of secret filming. We’ll keep some of them as “surprises” though until the last night! Haha.
Thanks for answering! Keep it up yahoo answers!!

The whole thing should be a roast of your brother. Do a documentary of his life — lots of stories and anecdotes, which he cannot dispute. Maybe next year he’ll try harder to be there.
