It’s obvious to anyone going to the theaters on a semi regular basis in this modern day and age that horror music are ever improving in quality and caliber. Writers and directors are finally figuring out what makes a good horror movie and what makes a bad one. But something many of us fail to remember is that many of these music today are based off of fantastic horror books. That’s right, many (if not most) if the great new horror music are based off of classic or modern horror books.
Granted, some of the newer music aren’t the best. But many filmmakers have kept true to the horror books that their music are inspired by.
