Question by chickachicka: How can I shoot my short film in a different aspect ratio?
We’re gonna be using the Canon XHG1 and it shoots in widescreen in 16:9. Is there any way I can have it film in 1.85:1 or maybe even 2.40:1? If so, what would we need to do and what equipment would we need, if any?

put a curved piece of glass in front of the lens. of course only 4:3 or 16:9 video can be displayed on normal monitors, so you will have to get a mondo sized curved glass to put over your monitor to correct the display.
