Question by Bill: How do you become a film director.?
I am still in high school and I’ve written several screenplays. The thing is I don’t know where to start. I would like to film a horror film right outside of highschool, yet I’d have to film on digital video and If that’s the case wouldn’t the movie look cheap. I don’t want to make a peice of crap. I want it to be in good enough quality to be released theatrically. So is this a good idea or should I go to film school. Or should I move to hollywood and try to become a production assistant.

I would recommend going to a film academy and study to become a director. If you have talent you will be recognized and get to participate in contests and so, and make your way to the top.
