Question by paige: i have a lot of previous experience, does that give me a higher chance of getting into film school?
I go to a art high school, called Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. It is located in Jacksonville, FL. My major is film/TV and i was just wondering with all the classes i have been taking and how informed i am about film making, does that give me a WAY higher advantage when it comes to applying to colleges and universities? also what colleges do you recommend, i want to either go to new york, california, or somewhere in the united kingdom, because i want to move to the UK eventually.

“Film Schools” exist for the purpose of giving film school professors a paycheck. You would be hard-pressed to name another college major that that leads graduates of the school more directly to unemployment and poverty, or at best a job making videos for parents in a McDonalds Playground.
