i really want to learn the art of filmmaking. i have a real passion for it, and everytime i walk out of the house, my mind is constantly thinking how i can make a movie out of footsteps or the rain or the people. i also want to enter an international competition for filmmakers. i have no degree in filmmaking nor have i learnt anything of that sort before! im just a high school kid reaching for her dreams. what program of editing and cutting can i buy to edit my film? and what camera would be good for a doc. is there a place i can rent it? or can i just use a digicam? should i buy a book about this to learn? or should i enrol in a class? my parents arent too happy about my dreams about becoming a filmmaker, so im going to study biotech in two months. but i want to use the time i have now to atleast scrap something out of my dreams. will my parents pay for my film classes now? i have no idea. probably not. so how now brown cow?

experiment by yourself, remember dont let anyone tell you that there is a right way and a wrong way in anything, art is free, art is everything around you, go for it, buy a cheap camera and let it be and extension of you ideas and your eyes, show the world how to see and interperate life, POWER TO JAH
