-i have a 3.5 gpa, which is subject to getting raised soon.
-i’m vice president of student council this year atleast.
-i’m in NHS and ITS. (theatre and national honor societies.)
-I work on plays, currently as house crew, but soon backstage.
-i flied through film appreciation class with 100%.

I think you’re fine. Filmmaking is not a competitive degree because it’s more like a hobby. If you were trying to get into a med program, chemistry, nursing, engineering, accounting, finance..it might be a little different.
I know NYU has continuing Ed as well…you can get an actual degree thru there.
Good Luck!
If you don’t currently live in NYC, I would try to sway you. It’s not worth it. It sucks over here.
It’s just a fun place to visit once in a while. I just don’t want you to be disappointed .
PS. There are cheaper Film Schools in NYC that are just as prestigious. You still will probably waste your money with a Film Degree….unless you’re Jewish, you’re not getting into the industry…esp. not out here because the Jews stick together and pick favs.
