Question by Jordan’s Yahoo ID: Ideas for a film study project?
I was recently assigned a “Lumiere Video Project” for my film study class. I’ve spent about a week trying to think up ideas. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem, but the film has to be between 60 and 90 seconds, and has to be a silent film. Also, there’s one other problem: “Videos should not contain depictions of drugs or alcohol use, weapons or ‘look alikes’, nudity or sexual behaviour or simulations of nudity or sexual behaviour. Videos containing any of these will not be accepted for credit and students involved in the video production – depending on the content – may be referred to an administrator. Recordings of students actually breaking laws or violating school rules will be forwarded to an administrator.” As you can see, this certainly makes things a lot more difficult since so many people like to watch violence. So please, if anyone has an idea, that would be one more than what I have. Thank you, and I really appreciate it!!

Are you looking for a grade or trying to please people who like violence which if you attempt to do, could damage your chances of keeping your GPA high enough to be accepted to grad school..
Go for the grade and shoot the other stuff on your own time.
How many pages does it take to write a sixty to ninety second video?
My guess is the instructor wants you to produce a video that shows all the skills and techniques you have learned thus far in the class. Just do it and keep it simple.
