Question by TJ Wharton: If some film production company loves a script they read then how long after they read/buy it do they make it?
and release a film out into the theaters?

no absolute answer. once it’s decided to be bought and made they have to find a director, production team, cast, etc and production can vary greatly depending on a number of issues. A director can over-run, over-budget, over-excert the entire project. I guess it can range from 4/5 months upwards. Apparantely a film called The Thief and the Cobbler was in production for 31 years!!
