Question by Mac Hine: Is it common fro filmmakers/screen writer to steal concepts and ideas from other writers?
And, if so..why is this? What kind if person would do this?
I would never steal an idea. But, an idea was stolen from me by another amateur film maker at school!! I am so angry!
Why do they do this? That’s what i want to know. Are they confident enough in their own creativity?

I’m sure it happens. Spielberg did that with Amistad. I think he got sued. They do it obviously to have a better film and make more dough.
