Question by Jessyyy 🙂: Is it to late to start acting at 16?
i have no experience sadly and im 16 on march 25th is it to late to gain experience & become a well paid actress.. I would love to be in movies but hay wouldn’t all of us. But a movie star is my dream.
im going to be doing in college this year either.. 4 A levels including drama/theatre studies and film studies..
~OR~
a BTEC national preforming arts diploma 🙂
and shortly i’ll be joining an acting class.
Both college courses last 2 years..
So after a 2 year college course.. which will have productions.. and 2 years doing acting classes that also do alot of productions..
do you think i should look for an agent?
Thanks and god bless x

It’s certainly not too late. Most actors begin when they’re in college, and many even wait until after college.
Before the age of 18, actors are only actors because it was their parents’ choice, not their own, which is why the best actors are more often (but not always) actors who were not teen or child actors.
Don’t worry. It’s not too late. It might seem that way because of how the culture idolizes people who have hit success at an early age. The only thing you probably couldn’t do is become an Olympic gymnast or figure skater.
