Question by Okay Hero: Is this college teacher treating me fair or unfair?
Introductory film/video production.
I registered for the class a week late, I handed in the first assignment the next week (film, then second part edit).
Then she told me she would not give me credit for it (5%) because it was not done on time, nor would she give me credit for editing it because it was due that day (total of 10% of my grade.)
I had to talk her into giving me partial credit for the first assignment. So I basically started out the class with a -6percent.
Then another assignment I did and went to go get it processed. They process once a week, I went there and the lady left early. Then I went again on their processing day and they already did that. I told my teacher and she said she would not give me credit for it because she gave me a week extension. I told her that the store closed early (even though store hours showed otherwise) but she says she will not accept it (it is worth 15% of my grade)
Another student overexposed her film and the teacher let her re do it
When I asked why she said bc the other student got it in on time and she would let us redo it. But I didnt get it in on time so I can’t redo it.

That is completely fair. In the real world, your employer doesn’t care what the excuse is, just that it’s not done on time.
