Question by ch33rbl0ndi3babe: Job as a Film and Television producer?
Hey I’m a junior in high school (GA) and I want to be a film producer. But i’m not really sure what “type” of producer because in some movie credits you have a producer, executive producer, line producer, and the list goes on and on. My high school doesn’t offer anything in film and television and I still have another year before college. So my question is, what can I do right now to prepare me for a job as a producer? I want to learn how to do EVERYTHING they do. And what requirements or special training a producer may need? How do I become a producer?

It’s not glamarous. You will have to learn how to handle a lot of stress, lies, diva behavior from stars, budgets and be a writer when writers quit, etc. Go to NYC or LA to try getting an internship at a major studio and work your way to the top. As for education, look into UCLA or NYU.
