Students Get Lesson in Charter Disparity
The controversial documentary “Waiting for Superman” features a heart-breaking scene in which children and parents wait to hear if they’ll win a spot in a charter school lottery. In Chicago, there are 15,000 kids on waiting lists for spots in 82 charter schools.
