Me & I’ve been TAGGED

Okay I was tagged by Cyclist451 www.flickr.com/photos/31287748@N00/ And now I’m supposed to write 10 things you may or may not know about me and they have to be true.
1. I love photography. (surprise!) I’ve always been artistic and liked to draw from a very young age. I studied art in school but decided not to go that direction. I’ve always admired photography and tried various times in my life to do it, but It always seemed too technical, not artsy enough. I never stayed with it, not until I discovered digital and totally fell in love with the process and the art.
2. I was a drama major in college and LOVED performing in musicals. I had ambitions to move to New York and try my hand @ Broadway . . . but things changed from Freshman to Senior year.
3. I play the piano, guitar and sing and have been writing songs since I was 15-years old.
4. If you look on my photostream you’ll find some pictures of me in the 80s performing on stage, yep, 80s Madonna clothes and hair, that’s me. I pursued singing in clubs around Los Angeles for most of the 80s and 90s, singing in techno, pop, and even a hard rock band at one point. I did clubs, concerts, weddings and parties.
5. I was born in New Jersey but moved to the San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles) when I was 8-years old — and yes I am a valley girl.
6. I have a motorcycle license and a motorcycle, but I don’t ever ride it. I prefer to ride on the back of the Gold Wing instead.
7. I have my own business – transcription services, working primarily with film and TV production companies. We transcribe all the raw footage for the editors/producers and then we transcribe into script format the final shows. My clients include Disney, Warner Bros, Comedy Central, etcetera. My company is called Flying Fingers Transcripts and will be 10-years old in 2010.
8. I also freelance as a writer for magazines and newspapers – entertainment articles primariliy.
9. I studied ballet, tap and modern dance when I was young.
10. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 25-years. Yow! And don’t ask when we’re going to get married. 😉
Wow, that was fun. I’m going to TAG some unsuspecting flickr’s.
