Patrick looking to trim Mass. spending on tourism promotion in coming year
BOSTON – Reacting to budgetary pressures, Mass. Gov. Deval L. Patrick is proposing a 28 percent cut in funding for the commonwealth’s tourism bureau’s, even while recognizing that visitors to the state inject about $ 14 billion into its economy.
