www.iranian.com All these paintings have been drawn from 11 to 18 years of age by Oliver Omid who was born on 21/10/1987 , the year of the great storm in the village of River, Kent, England into a family of mix descent: Iranian father and English mother. His talent in art was recognized very early in life when he won the prize for the best drawing of the primary(junior) schools in South East kent. Oliver Omid completed his ART with A+ distinction; FILM and MEDIA (A+), and won the prize for art in 2006 at Grammar School for Boys and his work was selected for various exhibitions in that year. Oliver Omid have a great interest in music and especially playing the lead guitar ; enjoys drawing and painting; film, not only watching, but also making. He considered doing a course in film making at university for some time before he finally decided to study music. Oliver has just graduated with a honours degree in Music at Canterbury Christ Church University school of music, we hope with distinction!
