Description
The Producer or Director may desire a specific still photograph to be incorporated in her/his Project. The Producer must ensure that the subject of the photo owns the Copyright to it. Often photographers may own the copyright to their photos, however they may not have signed releases from their photo subjects/persons granting the photographer the Right to use the subject’s image in another/future Project.
A Still Photo Release gives the Producer the Right to incorporate a still photo in the Producer’s Project. This is a two page, eight clause legal Agreement.
We regularly receive feedback that we have successfully drafted our filmmaker contracts to be as complete as possible for all legal situations. However, should you experience a unique personal situation requiring the drafting of a special clause, please contact us at your convenience. Otherwise, you may be obliged to find a local entertainment lawyer experienced in the film making industry who will draft any and all other clauses for your Project’s unique situation or circumstance.
This Agreement is part of the Actor’s Deal, and the Director’s Deal, and the Producer’s Deal.
